Entreprises Pirard Ltd started its operations in Rwanda in 1951 and was officially registered in 1976. The enterprise majors in construction business activities both public & private such as civil engineering, carpentry and welding workshops, architectural and construction studies. Entreprises Pirard Ltd is the oldest and leading construction company in Rwanda with over 40 years majoring in constructions projects such as Hôtel des Mille Collines, Village Urugwiro currently hosting the Office of the President of the Republic, Lycée de Kigali, and many architectural studies and civil engineering works.

The Board Chairman

Architectural Engineer with MSc in Building and Urban Design; Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture; Advanced Diploma in Architecture. Holds extensive experience in the architectural field in the public and private sectors, provided consultancy services to several entities since 2009: Lead Landmark Design team in all architectural and design projects; Director and Projects Coordination for several projects and entities.

Arch. KAMIYA Hakizimana

Board member

Arch. Eng. Dr. Kamiya is the founder and principal of one of the leading design firms in Rwanda and the region (GMK International Partners Ltd). His experience varies from academic research to practice in the role of architect, urban designer, and project manager. He practiced in several countries in Africa before pursuing his graduate Ph.D. program at Ohio State University/The Knowlton School of Architecture from 2001-2006 while working with big firms like Turner Construction, Lupton Rausch Design, and OZ Architecture.
